I find through the contrasts in my life I become so grateful
for who I am and where I am. Everyone I meet has a lesson for me. When my husband & I started the first soup kitchen in Vt in the early 80’s I had just changed careers to be a real estate agent and the first sale I made was from a soup kitchen connection. Contrast equals opporrtunity. Thanks for a great video!

I love the contrast in my life! When bad things happen it makes me appreciate the good things even more. I also realize by looking around that things could always be worse.
I appreciate contrast when my mind is in the ‘right place’. When I get an urge to create something new and different because I’ve hit a ‘plateau’, that’s a great contrast to where I was when I was headed towards that goal. Conversely, when I hit a down place… it can be hard to appreciate the lesson in it until I ‘contrast’ it to the ultimately great feelings that soon emerge again. ~ Great video!!!
very interesting thoughts… i have to say i don’t have a lot of contrast in my life right now… heads down working hard and whenever not working spending time with family and three kids… makes me think of when my husband and i were very active in the volunteer community before moving to our new home in a new location 3 years ago… rich i think we need more contrast in our lives…. I am adding it as a topic for our weekly family meeting!
