  • Our Ego works exceptionally hard to pull us away from the true essence of who we are. It’s sole purpose is to keep us in state of fear, scarcity, depletion, self doubt, self hatred, self loathing, pain, and in general not feeling as though we measure up in general.
Our culture and our experience growing up feeds that pain. The hunger in our soul is Love conciousness pulling us towards a return to our innocence and our essence that we all had when we first came into the world in our beautiful perfection.
Time, environment, influence has pulled us away from our light and tried to convince us that the dark is a safer haven. Within that haven we will receive community and acceptance as there are so many of us drawn in the same direction.
The strength comes from having the courage to recognize that our true essence is pure, unconditional love for ourselves and one another.
Our purpose in life is to extend towards others love and acceptance.
This is the hunger for which our soul craves it’s ultimate peace
It’s a continual journey and a journey that will provide us much nourishment, fulfilment, peace and inner joy that initially may frighten us due to the Ego’s exceptional ability to keep us playing from a place of fear.

with kindest of intentions and love to all

This is True, very true. The hunger of the soul is insatiable because the Love of the Lord God is Infinite.
The more we receive, the more we truly ache for. The only way to achieve fulfillment is to overcome the world. :D

Our bodies can be nourished from feeding however, our soul is just as much in need of nourishment. Doesn’t it feel better to sit and eat with family or friends rather than alone ? Ever felt like you crave for something but didn’t know what, and it wasn’t food or drinks or pleasure of the flesh. When they speak of longing for something, its the inner longing that the outer things cannot fulfill. How is that people do not believe there is a soul ?

Physical hunger is more tormenting for an average living thing including humans, who also have other cravings not as aggressive as the crave for food. A soul hunger is felt only in some advanced individuals who had either got inspired by a holy soul or by birth from the karmic continuum proceeding from past lives. For such people even hunger / thirst cease to torment. Their bodies seem to draw energy directly from the cosmic treasure house, while their consciousness is ever immersed in the target of communion with its Oversoul.

When there is no food for the ear, give a little also to the stomach.
Thiruvalluvar demands that you should taste for your stomach hunger only if you have fulfilled your soul’shunger!!

  • Harvey Underwood

Both the soul and stomach……..same as the soul is fulfilled the stomach too is fulfilled.
Once dead the body stops hungry still the soul lives.

I certainly know a soul exists. everybody has a soul. You can not stay hungry in your stomach more than a few days your soul’s hungre u can bear infinitely but as u you it can not be fulfilled easily because it not for only one own self.
